From now until December 18th, 2023, we are collecting non-perishable food donations that will be delivered to the Serving Our People supermarket in Mermaid Beach. This initiative is not just about providing food; it’s about bringing the community together to make a difference, spreading cheer and warmth to every corner we can reach.
Here’s how you can contribute to this noble cause:
- Check Your Pantry: Look for non-perishable items that you can spare. Canned goods, rice, pasta, and long-life milk are just a few examples of what you could donate.
- Involve the Kids: Use this opportunity to teach your children about the joy of giving. Let them select and donate items, fostering a sense of generosity and community service.
- Spread the Word: Encourage friends, family, and colleagues to join in. The more people involved, the merrier the outcome for those in need.
- Drop Off Your Donations: You can bring your contributions to our office at Shop 21A/ 221 Christine Avenue, Varsity Lakes. Remember, the deadline is 5 pm on the 18th of December.
- Make It a Tradition: Let’s not limit our generosity to just the Christmas season. Make giving a part of your family tradition throughout the year.
